We Move the Earth for You
Southern Development & Construction, Inc. (SDC) is a 31+ year old, privately held corporation specializing in heavy civil construction and development projects — heavy civil, underground utility, earthwork, paving, and site development services across Central Florida. Ranked as the #3 largest contractor in Central Florida by the Orlando Business Journal in 2025 and one of the region's 50 fastest-growing companies.
This site is home base for SDC's employee events. Throughout the year we bring the team together for cookouts, holiday parties, volunteer days, and family gatherings. Check the events page, register in a few clicks, and we'll see you there.
More than a jobsite
The SDC Standard
Your energy matters.
These events are our thank-you—and a chance to reset.
Know your people.
Meet colleagues outside the usual meetings and Slack threads.
We see the work.
Wins and extra effort shouldn’t go unnoticed.
Belong here.
Culture is built in shared moments, not posters.
Take the break.
Step away from the grind and leave with more energy.
Stay connected.
Keep the connections going long after the event ends.
